W.I.P.
Oil is so new but also familiar. So much of it is like the other half of my life — the half that brings in a paycheck doing distinctly uncreative work. My day job at a software company is all about breaking down problems or breaking software and figuring out solutions. It’s a bit like painting — turning a 3 dimension scene into 2 dimensions, figuring out how the paint plays with water or oil. Painting is a bit magical, too, though. Somehow it’s managed to cast tech in a new, slightly more creative light.
