So, this isn't profound or anything, but I'm forty-something, and only in the last two weeks of my life have I discovered how much a pie crust benefits from a good rolling surface. It's changed my baking life.I don't know whether my pleasure over this discovery is pathetic, or if I should just be happy that at the tender age of forty-something I'm still discovering something new about pie.I'll figure it out over desert, I guess.
